Oh, to try and touch
The sentiment or emotion which seems to say much.
Like, why the stumbles and disappointments of life’s weary path;
Leaves you forgotten and what you were once, now only half.
Like why every step forward is plaqued by unbridled flaws, that bring the consequence of two steps back.
And criticism brings no need to put morals on the sodden track.
Why? the world seems to leave the present with no optimistic view.
Or why there’s no need to love me the way that I have loved you.
To finger the disillusionment on which is based your pride.
Overlooking the real you, the real you to which you can not confide,
That the real you, is not you, and that is the you, you must hide.
But this you, will do, now that honesty has died.
The failed dreams of quadraplegic ambition and mangled self identifiers,
Leaves you alone with the mirror to face the incessant liars.
The transgressions of thought that questions the me that I am.
Does little to disturb a conscious that doesn’t give a damn.
Along the fogged and weary road mistakes may raise the question, Why!
But as usual you will provide excuse or present an alibi.
The twittered emotions on the web of a tattered mind,
Will bring no peace if that is what you’re trying to find.
Well is it possible I may have touched,
Something left unspoken that should remain as such.

The Voice of the Tea Party
Posted in 1, Socail commentary on January 20, 2010 by 1marktIt is amazing to me that this group of apparent illiterates that call themselves the tea party are allowed to spread thier propoganda without ever asking them to really account for thier idiotcy. Now I am not saying this to throw unfounded ridicule, but to suggest that if they were truthfull with themselves and the world, then they would have to point to themselves in the first place and thier policies for driving America into the dirt that they continually bitch about.
First on this list of responsibility is this cry from them about government spending. I find this to be the most laughable aspect of thier campaign. First of all the Bush 43 raised the limits of government spending some twenty times during his tenure in office, without one complaint being heard from them. Then again after thier successes in getting the Bush 43 administration to overlook and take away any guidance from the government on stock manipulation and thugs on Wall Street that put America in the place of being dragged from a country run by checks and balances to a country run by a bunch of thug bankers and advertisers. Along with this comes this ridiculous war with Iraq that only during the Obama administration has been put on the books. A war in which America had no reason to be in but was manipulated and lied into again by Bush 43. Right now the cost for this debaucle stands at 4 trillion dollars when a complete accounting is made and that may be short sighted. Meanwhile the roads and bridges for which all of the recent Republican administrations saw no need for has left our infrastructure at the point of barely meeting safety codes. Yet they have waged a psychological terror campaign on it’s own people with scare tactics to benefit the industrial military complex leading the American people to have been blackmailed and extorted from. Another point of contention that the tea party raises is this objection that the Obama administration is seeking government run health care. Here the point that illeteracy is rampant amongst the tea party is most justified when they encouraged a Medicaid and Medicare new bill under Bush 43, that was a sham at best and cost the average citizen thousands more dollars, but yet not one peep, scream shout or word comes from them on this issue. Either they are extremely ill informed or they really don’t give a damn about what they are saying to begin with.
Let’s probe the issue of why Dick Cheney removed Donald Rumsfeld from head of N.O.R.A.D. on the morning of September 11, 2001 and placed himself over it, during the almost three hours he was over it there was no attempt to send jets to intercept the second plane even after the first had crashed into one tower, nor was any attempt made to scramble or intercept any of the doomed flights that day. How is this possible? Yet this treasanous individual is allowed to comment on putting a nation at risk. He should be hung.
There is also much banter made that Obama is moving towards a socailist agenda. This is more bullshit. The fact is that under Bush 43 there was an out and out attack on the freedoms of the average American through policies such as the patriot act and the infringement by the U.S. government that requires no judges order or anything else to listen to, monitor, bug or track any correspondance or activity you an American citizen may be doing. Yet not one word about or against the President George Bush 43 that did this, from the tea party members. But instead of looking at who is responsible for the real erosion of your rights, it somehow gets attributed to President Obama. Again this shows how ill-informed these people are.
This country was driven in the ground by the Bush administration and the real scope of the pitiful shape that we were in is still being gaurded. We were in a drastic state just months from collapse both financailly and governmentally and to really understand this I guess it may have been best for the illiterates to be standing in the streets fighting for food and water which we were on the brink of. The illiterates that I am referring to are not the uneducated and poor that should have no responsibility for thier conditions but those educated and alledged good Americans who have no excuse for not being able to understand or fail to look for it.
President Obama was and is a principled man and honest and imbued with a sense of what is right and he is doing everything possible to make America a place where ideas and freedom and protection of it’s peoples and liberties will survive. Make no mistake we were on the brink of collapse and eventually there will be papers published that proves this to be true and instead of attempting to bring the President down the world should thank him and give him instead of rebuke, praise.
There is also the Republican party which keeps talking about bipartisanship but where is thier practice of it. On the issue of health care President Obama has made 218 amendments and concessions to the Republicans and thier wants. What has the Republican party done except fight against the health care bill and every other legislation and bill that the President has brought forth. Where is thier willingness at bipartisanship. It doesn’t exist lately and the American people are the ones that are suffering while they the Republican party and thier pundits ie, Limbaugh, Hannity, Palin, and the Republican Senate have proven to be to the most uncorperative bunch of jerks around.
Sincerely,
Marcus T. Tolbert
